Positive wishes for Glasgow’s iconic People’s Palace and Winter Gardens on its 128th birthday today.
On January 22nd 1898 it was declared “open to the people forever and ever”.
We must keep up the pressure to ensure that our beloved museum and winter gardens
are restored to their former glory, and re-opened to the public as soon as possible.
Can’t wait to relax among the beautiful greenery of our winter gardens again
– always was a highlight on a winter’s walk on the Green.
